St. Lawrence CollegeA great school not only offers innovative, in-demand programs, it also offers students the support they need to succeed. At St. Lawrence College, you’ll not only get the training and skills you need to get where you want to go, you’ll also have access to student services designed to help you succeed:

STUDENT SUCCESS FACILITATORS
We provide one-on-one support and resources to help students achieve their academic and personal goals, and to have a positive and fulfilling college experience. Student Success Facilitators provide free workshops on subjects including study skills, time management, test taking strategies, and more.

ABORIGINAL SERVICES
An Aboriginal student advisor provides one-on-one support for Aboriginal students on the Kingston and Cornwall campuses. Transitional services include peer mentoring, academic advisement, access to the Eagle Learning Café, and more.

FIRST GENERATION SERVICES
First Generation Students are those whose parents/guardians did not attend college, university or an apprenticeship program. Our support program addresses the diverse challenges that First Generation students might encounter while adjusting to the academic and social demands of college life.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES
Students with disabilities may be eligible to receive services including Adaptive Technology or the services of a Learning Strategist or Learning Coach.

We also offer Peer Tutoring to any student who could benefit from extra help in a particular subject, and The Math and Writing Centre for students who want to improve or enhance their writing, math, or science skills. We’re here to help.
