With clear goals in mind, exam time doesn’t have to be traumatic. At Trinity Western University, our campus supports students by offering resources like the Student Success Centre to help students manage their studies. Ourtop5 final exam study tips are:

1. Use an agenda to manage your time and plot out your assignments and exam schedule. Set aside times to study and stick to them.

2. Review class notes and materials. Read through the course content from the beginning, take notes and check out all of the suggested class readings.

3. Talk to your professors about their expectations. Our university has small class sizes so students can easily approach their profsand ask for advice on how to prepare for a particular exam.

4. Join study groups. Study groups can be helpful in overcoming a major barrier to studying: procrastination. Signing up for a group commits you to setting aside specific time for studying and can help to fill in the gaps in your own knowledge.

5. Don’t forget your health. Stress and fatigue take their toll on our bodies, which affects our ability to study and perform at exam time.Make sure you sleep, eat and exercise properly.
