  1. Go to school for the right reasons. Make sure it is your idea and something you are interested in. College is an investment in yourself and your future career. Almost everyone will need some form of advanced education for future success - Make yours count!
  2. Learn some good “life skills”. These skills involve problem solving, planning and organization and relationship building. These skills are crucial for academic and social success at school. If your college does not offer this program, look for personal development courses in your community.
  3. Wellness counts. While you are busy studying, remember to plan your meals and snacks. Exercise needs to be part of your stress management strategy, as well as learning mind control and emotional balance. Learn how to manage your life – take the 10 Day Wellness Challenge!
  4. Look for the intangibles. Life is about having rich and meaningful experiences. Even though you are preparing for the future, be prepared for magical moments that may provide better education than what you might find in a text book.
  5. Take charge! It is your life and your career. You were born to do something important in this life. Make sure your education is part of that. Do what you love to do, and do it to the best of your ability and you will find joy.
