St Lawrence CollegeThe summer has come to an end and it is that time of the year again, going back to school, or in some cases going to college for the first time. It can be daunting being in a new city, new home, and new school with new people. It is completely normal to have butterflies in your stomach when moving forward with your life; usually that nervous feeling is a good sign. Being in college is not about being scared, it is about learning, getting involved and having the time of your life while making the most of your experience at SLC!

On September 4th each campus will host an Orientation event. Orientation allows students the opportunity to make new friends, discover the many student services provided on campus, join clubs, meet professors and get accustomed to the school environment.

SLC’s campuses in Brockville, Cornwall and Kingston are all exceptional places with plenty to offer: each have their own unique downtown cores, a lot of green space, and are close to major cities and the US border. Discover what our campus locations have to offer you!

Across our three campuses, we have undertaken many green initiatives, like eco containers, a solar wall and rooftop solar panels in Kingston and Brockville– the largest solar installation at any post-secondary institution in Canada!

There is always something to do on campus or in the city. Check out our events calendar!

You can also get a first-hand view of student life on the St. Lawrence College blog!

I hope you have a great school year!
