Back to Class at UOIT

Save the date! Classes at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology start on Thursday September 6. The Student Experience Centre is ready to help you make the most of your university experience with programs and resources designed to prepare you for academic and personal success. The coming months are full of opportunities for you to learn more about your new school and the surrounding community while meeting upper-year students, faculty and staff who will be your guides as you embark on your post-secondary journey.

There are many tasks that you need to complete before you start classes in September. The Student Experience Centre has created a Summer Checklist designed to give you a head start on your transition to university. Your to do list includes important items such as:

• Create a financial plan;
• Arrange for parking;
• Pick up a campus ID card; and
• Purchase books.

 

Once you’ve crossed off the last item on your checklist, make sure you register for September Orientation. Starting on Tuesday September 4, you will get the chance to meet new friends and familiarize yourself with the campus while participating in exciting, fun events designed to get you ready for your first year at UOIT.
