Not every student begins earning their degree or diploma immediately after high school. For those who need to develop skills or gain necessary academic credentials, there is an alternative route to arrive at the same destination as those who do start their program immediately after high school. For those considering a Plan B route, Fleming College offers students many opportunities to upgrade their skills and prepare for their academic goals.

The General Arts and Science – University Transfer program is a great option for those who are interested in studying liberal arts at university, but who do not have the necessary academic credentials or need the skills and self confidence to succeed in university. Students can even earn credits that they can put towards their degree. To learn more, click here: http://flemingcollege.ca/programs/general-arts-and-science-university-transfer.

In The General Arts and Science department, there is the Environmental and Natural Resource Studies Option. The program is designed to prepare students for entry into one of Fleming’s diploma programs in the School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences. Upon successful completion of this two-semester certificate program, students receive credit for all Common First Semester courses and get direct entry into the second semester of one of the programs.
