You have been looking forward to graduation for months and have been sending out resumes, hoping to land your dream job. Perhaps that hasn’t happened yet and now you are considering your next move.

Heading back to school in September might be the answer. In just eight short months you can gain valuable career-specific skills, add to your resume and set yourself apart from the competition with an Ontario College graduate certificate.

For example, Seneca is offering a new Project Management – Information Technology graduate certificate beginning in September. It’s designed for those with a diploma or degree in electronics, software development or IT administration or those with a diploma or degree in business or liberal arts with two years of IT experience.

“Sometimes people who have a background in Technology can struggle when they take on a leadership role,” says Teresa Hucko, Project Manager, Program Management Office, Infrastructure Ontario. “This program will help these people to see the big picture, develop their communication skills, teach them to be project leaders and make them highly marketable graduates.”

Seneca has been designated as a Global Registered Educational Provider by the Project Management Institute (PMI) ®, so graduates of the Project Management – Information Technology Ontario College graduate certificate will also have the theory and Professional Development Units necessary to write qualifying exams for many PMI® credentials, including:

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Credential
• Project Management Professional (PMP)® Credential
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)SM
