Excited or tempted by the idea of doing a research degree but wondering how to support yourself financially? You may be eligible to apply for a research degree scholarship at the University of South Australia!

The University of South Australia has an exciting, problem-solving research environment where research training is especially rewarding.

Experience the discovery. Discover the experience. Learning new things is fun, and the experience of discovering new things yourself is fantastic and immensely rewarding. A research degree is a life-changing experience, a whole exercise in skills acquisition and personal development.

A range of scholarships is available for international research degree students. These scholarships provide valuable financial assistance to support you and your research study. International students are liable to pay tuition fees and, if in Australia on a student visa, must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). The majority of University of South Australia scholarships for international research degree students cover tuition fees and OSHC, and provide a living allowance to cover general living costs. In addition, other grants and awards may be available to you while studying (for example, to present your research at national and international conferences or to publish your research).

Scholarships are available in diverse areas across the University’s research institutes and centres.
