Small enterprises play a significant role in Canada’s economy, it is estimated that 98% of businesses employ fewer than 100 employees. SME (small to medium sized) enterprises offer a wide range of services and products and contribute substantially to a healthy Canadian entrepreneurial spirit.

Why consider an SME?

SMEs represent the largest share of businesses established in Canada and employ 64% of private sector employees and offer the opportunity to be involved in innovative research and development activities across several sectors; including manufacturing, health sciences, information technology environmental sustainability and renewable energy.

SMEs need graduates, likewise, graduates need SMEs. Why?

Graduates thrive on putting their learning into practice especially in an environment that offers the opportunity to investigate, innovate and contribute across several business functional areas. SMEs excel through hiring individuals with ambition, drive and technical aptitude. These environments often offer graduates an accelerated career path through advanced promotions and professional growth.

Recruitment: How do I get employed with an SME?
