Life at Seneca doesn’t start and end in the classroom. There are many ways to get involved and make sure that you get the most out of your college experience.

The Seneca Student Federation (SSF), campus clubs and athletics offer the chance to get involved in the wider community.

If you are full of energy and looking to become actively involved in your college, you could take on the task of representing your peers in the SSF. You can plan and promote events, participate in campus culture days, join a club for interest, or go on trips for professional development.

In addition, whether for fun or competition, the championship teams at Seneca are always eager for great athletes. Seneca College has a long and proud tradition of sporting excellence dating back to the College's opening in 1967. From varsity sports to campus recreation, programs that are available optimize the health and lifestyles of our students, staff and neighbours, while boosting school spirit and morale. Visit the Athletics and Recreation office at your campus to find out about varsity, recreation, and fitness programs available to you.

Once you have made the decision to get involved, you may want a record of your activities. In addition to learning inside the classroom, which is documented on a student’s academic transcript, Seneca offers numerous opportunities for students to get involved outside the classroom, become active contributors to their campus community, gain valuable experience and develop essential skills. This extracurricular involvement can now be recognized with a Co-Curricular Record: an official record of student participation and achievement outside the classroom available to all full-time Seneca students.

With so many options, why not get involved, get engaged, get excited and explore student life at Seneca.
