Students about to enter college or university have plenty of decisions to make. It’s a big step and you want to make a good choice. By now, you are pretty comfortable with your own personal strengths and have likely decided what type of career is most interesting for you. This will become the foundation of your future. Here are three quick tips to help you through the application process...

Tip #1: Do Your Research
Ask a lot of questions! Talk to people that are currently in the field, ask them about their most and least favourite parts of the job. Carefully review the admission requirements for the program and make sure you have at least fifty percent of the required courses completed before the Equal Consideration Date of February 1st.

Tip #2: Process Your Application
If possible, pay the application fee by credit card. This is the fastest way to get your application processed through www.ontariocolleges.ca and then forwarded on to your requested school. The faster the application is received, the better chance you have of being accepted into the program you want!

Tip #3: DON'T LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE
As we all know, life gets busy. The application process is bound to be more involved than we first thought. Take the time to make sure that your application won’t be delayed or rejected due to missing details. Careful planning now will offer you your pick of the best post-secondary learning opportunities. Contact our recruitment team to help you get started. We're here to get you there!
