Centennial College offers new 1-year graduate certificate programs

Toronto’s Centennial College is offering a number of new 1-year graduate certificate programs of interest to students who already have a college diploma or university degree, and are looking for a specialty to add to their skills base. Take a look:

Construction Management
Study the management and technological aspects of residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional construction projects, as well as engineering and infrastructure construction. It provides practical training for individuals with a unique combination of construction and project management skills, with the added dimension of protecting the environment and sustainability.

Culture and Heritage Site Management
Canada has 2,500 museums and related institutions, including not-for-profit art galleries, science centres, aquaria, archives, sports halls-of-fame, artist-run centres, zoos and heritage sites that attract more than 59 million visitors annually.

Another 60 million people visit our historic sites and natural parks. These facilities require specialized professionals trained to manage these cultural and heritage resources. Learners will be engaged in practical management courses as well as relevant industry-based subjects.

Marketing – Research and Analytics
This program prepares graduates for career success in the vital research and analytics sector of the marketing industry. Graduates will gain a solid foundation in the analytical aspects of marketing in a comparatively short period of time, taught within the context of the Canadian marketing industry.

Marketing – Sales & Account Management
This program prepares graduates for career success in key account management and professional sales. In a comparatively short period of time, graduates will gain a solid foundation in the intricacies of acquiring and maintaining relationships with major marketing clients.

Medical Robotics and Automation
The program focuses on developing the technical skills needed in the use of medical instrumentation and automation. Students learn to design, develop and commission equipment in the medical engineering and pharmaceutical production fields.

The program also covers future growth areas in the use of robotics in surgery as well as nano-robotics.
