The U of A administers more than $25 million in undergraduate scholarships and awards each year! 

From entrance scholarships and awards to continuing undergraduate student awards, the   
U of A rewards your excellence in academic and leadership pursuits.  There are literally thousands of entrance scholarships available, ranging from $1,000 to $50,000.  In addition, we are one of only a few universities in Canada that offers a number of scholarships to international students.

We offer automatic consideration for the Academic Excellence Scholarship (up to $16,000) upon final admission as well as for several international scholarships such as the Registrar’s International Student Scholarship (up to $10,000 payable over four years), International Baccalaureate Scholarship (up to $4,000), Advanced Placement Scholarship (up to $4,000), and Faculty-Specific Awards (variable amounts).  Please see www.ualberta.ca/awards/academicexcellence and www.ualberta.ca/awards for more details on eligibility criteria.
