The planning for the 2010 – 2011 school year began months ago. Course selections were submitted last spring. In the senior grades, having the courses needed to earn the diploma with the prerequisites for college and university is key. It’s not too late to revisit course selections. Check with the guidance office to be certain that the courses being studied are the “right” ones. But, how can you be sure?

Fast-forward to graduation. On that day, where do you want your academic career to lead? To what post-secondary schools will you be applying? What are their admission requirements? This is important information to have in order to set goals.

What if your high school doesn’t offer the courses you need to get into the program of your choosing? Or, you have a scheduling conflict? The solution for you may be to study online to earn the credit(s) you need. With Ottawa Carleton E-School you can earn credits that count toward your diploma. You can study at your own pace and schedule. Online courses can be used to supplement your school timetable. Start this school year with academic goals in place, and plan to succeed.

Beginning a new school year is exciting. Reuniting with friends and discovering how this year will be different from years past. This year will be unique; different classes, different teachers, a new locker location, a new place on the social scale. Discover all the choices that are available; there are new selections in the cafeteria, teams and clubs to join, freedoms never before offered. Choose eSchool to make this the best year ever!
