Stenberg College Builds a Strong Sense of Community with Social Media

At Stenberg College we utilize Social Media to stay connected on a more personal level with current students and alumni, as well as reach prospective students that are researching schools and sought-after Diploma Programs. Utilizing our Facebook page and our Student Blog we keep our students and alumni up to date with campus information as well as Health Care & Human Services Industry information, bulletins, job postings, volunteer opportunities and more.

Not only is Social Media an informal way to build relationships but it can be fun and our students can link to their classmates outside of school for personal relationships or professional networking opportunities. Our student blog site is a forum for our students to share their experiences here on campus, in-class and in their personal lives and in addition, other students can learn from their experiences.

We also post information about skill-building, resume preparation, job search tips and more to help our students land the jobs they have been training and working so hard for. Along with outstanding Student Support Services on campus, we post similar support information through Social Media so students can access those resources whenever it’s convenient for them.

At Stenberg College we truly care about student success and we effectively use Social Media tools to further assist our students achieve their career goals.
