Academic Programs
The University of Toronto Scarborough offers over 200 different undergraduate programs in the Computer Sciences, Humanities, Life Sciences, Management, Physical and Environmental Sciences and Social Sciences. We are proud to offer several unique programs such as International Development Studies, Arts Management, and Mental Health Studies. The Scarborough campus is the only U of T campus to offer 78 different co-op programs in arts, science and business.  Co-op programs allow our students to acquire valuable career and work related experience in their chosen field of study. Furthermore, we offer joint programs with Centennial College in Journalism, New Media Studies and Paramedicine. These programs combine university education with practical experiences and job related training. Finally, the Concurrent Teacher Education Program (CTEP) allows our students to obtain hands-on teacher training along with their academic preparation. As a CTEP student, you will graduate with two degrees, a B.Ed. degree plus a BA or BSc degree, and you will be ready to teach French, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics – all high demand areas of education.

Regardless of what you study at the Scarborough campus, you graduate with a nationally and internationally recognized University of Toronto degree.

Student Life
Since a major part of the university experience takes place outside of the classroom, a school with the right atmosphere can make a lasting impact. U of T Scarborough is a mid-sized university with one of the most diverse student populations in Ontario. The community atmosphere of our campus makes it easy to foster friendships and get involved in extracurricular activities. Our students can choose to participate in a wide variety of activities ranging from performing in our annual cultural mosaic show, to running for a student government position, to hosting their own show on the campus radio station. With over 100 student clubs and associations, it won’t be hard to indulge your interests.

Location
U of T Scarborough is located 33 km east of the downtown center of Toronto, the largest city in Canada with a population of over 2.5 million. Recognized as the 4th largest financial center of Canada, Toronto offers world-class art galleries, museums, dance performances, international film and literary festivals. Situated in the lush and picturesque Highland Creek Valley, the campus is still easily accessible by public transit.  As part of Canada’s largest university, Scarborough students have access to a multitude of student services and resources, while still benefiting from a smaller campus environment.
