In today’s competitive job market, spa owners are demanding more and more out of job applicants. At Gina’s College of Advanced Aesthetics, preparing students for the workplace has always been a priority. We make sure that our students have everything they need to be successful professionals.

Courses Reflect Industry Demands

Every good aesthetician starts with a solid foundation. “When you understand basic aesthetics theory, you can apply that understanding to new developments in the beauty industry,” says Cristina Ramirez, president of Gina’s College of Advanced Aesthetics.

The Advanced Aesthetics course and the Spa Beauty Therapy course build a strong foundation in skin care, nail technology and make up artistry. With small class sizes, teachers give personal attention to students, ensuring that everyone improves.

Courses are focused on the most in-demand topics in the aesthetics and beauty industry. After taking the Medical Aesthetics course, students will be prepared for laser hair removal, anti-aging treatments and microdermabrasion. Getting educated in these key fields is a huge advantage for job applicants.

The Gina’s Clinic

With the Gina’s clinic open to the public twice a week, students get valuable time practicing on real clients. With a teacher on hand to supervise, students perfect their skills and experience working in a real spa setting.  They learn everything from prep to cleanup to seeing a client through to payment. The hours of practical experience give Gina’s students a strong competitive advantage when applying for jobs. Employers know that these students will be ready to go from day one on the job.

At Gina’s College of Advanced Aesthetics, our philosophy has always been to prepare students for the workplace as best we can. For more information on becoming a professional, visit www.ginascollege.com
