The transition from school to work can be stressful. That is why Canadore College is dedicated to giving our students hands on training and real-world skills that make the transition easier. We also have many options that allow you to earn-while-you-learn, make contacts and even find employment before you graduate.

Our School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts is a great place to start. Many of our programs offer paid internship and apprenticeship options.

You can earn-while-you-learn with the Cook Apprenticeship program or you can choose a program that offers paid summer placements at some of Canada’s top resorts and hotels including Banff Springs Hotel, Marriott Red Leaves Resort, Chateau Lake Louise and Deerhurst Resort. There are paid placement options in Culinary Management and Culinary Administration and Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Management and Administration programs.
