Saint Paul University offers a number of scholarships to recognize its student’s academic excellence. It also provides awards based on financial needs or other criteria. In each case, applicants must be registered full-time in an academic program offered by the University.

The scholarships available are:

1.    Excellence scholarships
Fields of study: All
Eligibility: Outstanding academic achievement
Value: eight if $ 1,000

2.    Governor General’s Academic Medals
The Gold Medal is awarded to the students who achieves the highest academic standing the graduate level. The silver Medal is awarded to the undergraduate student who achieves the highest academic standing upon graduation from a bachelor degree program.

3.    Saint Paul University’s Student Association scholarship
A $1,000 bursary is granted in the name of Saint Paul University’s Student Association.

4.    Association of Alumni and Alumnae of Saint Paul University (AAASPU) Bursary Funds
The AAASPU offers two bursaries.
The Sister Helen Prejean CSJ Endowment Fund Scholarship, Alumni and Alumnae Association of Saint Paul University
Eligibility: academic excellence
Value: 2 at $1,000
The Alumni and Alumnae Association of Saint Paul University Scholarship
Eligibility: academic excellence
Value: 1 at $1,000
5.    Bursaries awarded by the Research Centres of Saint Paul University

Centre for Women and Christian Traditions
Value: one worth $5,000 and two worth $1,250 each

Ethics Centre
Value: two worth $1,250 each

Religious History of Canada Centre
Value: two worth $1,250 each

6.    Mobility Scholarships
Selected students who take part in an international exchange receive a $400 bursary for a minimum participation of four months.

7.    External scholarships
By way of the Scholarships Office, Research Services assists Saint Paul University students who wish to apply for scholarships and awards administered by granting bodies outside the University (SSHRC, OGS,…).
