There is over $270,000 in entrance awards available to students enrolling at College of the Rockies for the first time in the fall of 2010. Not all the awards are for scholastic distinction. Some are for volunteer service, some are offered as bursaries in Trades and Technology, others are for residents of specific communities in the East Kootenay.

College of the Rockies, located in the spectacular Kootenay Rockies in the southeast corner of BC, has been serving the communities of the East Kootenay since 1975. COTR’s main campus is in Cranbrook with satellite campuses in Creston, Fernie, Sparwood, Golden, Kimberley and Invermere.

Smaller class sizes, personalized instruction, up-to-date technology, great support services and professional, friendly staff who are dedicated to student success, make College of the Rockies a great place to live, learn and play.

College of the Rockies is committed to providing relevant and quality education to an annual enrolment of approximately 2,500 students and over 120 international students in a wide variety of programs. These include University Transfer, Business, Health, Trades, Tourism, Information Technology and Fire Services, as well as more than 200 online courses.
