You were six years old when you first tried to put bandages on your cat Fluffy. Something inside told you that you were destined to provide care for animals.

You have now completed your undergraduate studies, and are preparing to apply to veterinary school. St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine has a few tips to help you get through the application process.

Research, Research, Research
Each university has different application requirements – take some time to research the application costs, deadlines, and prerequisites before you embark on the journey of applications.

Be Aware of Deadlines
St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine utilizes a rolling admission policy, which means applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, for the Fall semester, all applications and supporting documentation must be submitted by June 15th. The Spring semester deadline is November 15th of the preceding year.

There’s a List – Check It Twice
All universities have supporting documents necessary to complete your application. Make sure you determine exactly what you need, gather your items early, and be prepared to send everything together. Missing items may delay your review process. St. George’s University requests that you include transcripts, fees, financial information, letters of recommendation, and personal essays.
